Mounted On 3/16" Foam Board

Foam board is a rigid, lightweight polystyrene foam that is sandwiched between outside layers of clay-coated paper. It is not waterproof and is rated for indoor use only. The white surface is susceptible to warping and can be damaged with rough handling. More about Foam Board.

Mounted On 3/16" Gator Board or 1/8" Sintra

Gator board has a center core of extruded polystyrene foam sandwiched between layers of wood-fiber veneer. It is much stronger and more durable than foam board, and is warp- resistant. Although it may be used outdoors for very short durations, it is rated for indoor use only. It is not water-proof. More about Gator Board.

Sintra is a rigid poly chloride (PVC) durable material. Sintra is resistant to denting and warping. Although Sintra itself is waterproof, the paper poster is not waterproof. Sintra is ideal when the poster is inserted into a poster stand. More about Sintra.
