What exactly is a vehicle wrap?

Its purpose is transforming "empty advertising space" into a marketing image. When completed, your vehicle becomes a "roving billboard". The wrap is a series of graphic images that when installed appear as one continuous image matching the concept design. The completed wrap in effect becomes an advertising medium similar to magazine, newspaper and billboard advertising. A bigger bang for the buck.

Why is wrap cost-efficient?

You already own or long term lease your vehicles. Therefore the medium space is already "cost-consumed" unlike print or billboard advertising space which is purchased on a frequency or monthly basis. A one-time vehicle wrap investment will perform its marketing value for several years at no recurring cost.

What is the wrap material?

We only use the absolute best 3M manufactured vinyl wrap material which is specifically engineered and tested for its purpose. It is designed to conform over compound vehicle curves. The design is digitally printed on the vinyl wrap material with special inks on advanced digital printers. The vinyl is laminated and treated ready for installation by experienced installers to exacting techniques.

Will wrapping harm the vehicle's paint?

No. Actually it will cover-up minor flaws, scratches and paint chipping. The wrap can be removed without harming the auto's paint. In fact, the wrap will protect the paint.

Who does the vehicle wrap design?

You, a third-party designer or our designers. Whatever your choice. We maintain a very large library of vehicle templates by make, model and year. If available, we will provide the templates for self-design at a nominal deposit that will be credited to the final project. Unique vehicles will have to be measured and scaled prior to the design process.

Can the wrap be a partial wrap?

Absolutely. A wrap does not have to be completely wrapped. Depending upon the client's objectives and budget, a graphic can be applied to any portion of the vehicle regardless of how small or large the area. Rubber bumpers should be avoided because rubberized material is not a stable surface.

What about vehicle windows?

Rear and rear side windows can be wrapped with continuity of design. Drive side windows and the opposite side window as well as the auto's windshield cannot be covered. For safety, a special "perforated" vinyl is used permitting unobstructed viewing from inside the vehicle. Many clients will elect to only apply decals or vinyl lettering to windows.

How is a vehicle prepared for graphic wrapping?

Other than minor scratching and paint chipping, all damage to the vehicle must be repaired before installation. The auto should be free of wax and well-washed. We automatically thoroughly clean the exterior before installing the wrap.

How long does it take to wrap a vehicle?

That depends upon the complexity of the design, size of the vehicle and volume of application. Sometimes climate conditions are a factor since the surface should at a moderate temperature for best results. We usually have to have the vehicle a day or say before installation to get it environmentally conditioned.

How long does a wrap last?

Average rated longevity is 3 to 5 years. It will vary due to climate conditions of the area. The better you maintain the auto wrap, the longer it should last. It is best to hand wash the vehicle. Automatic wash systems with abrasive brushes can scratch the surface of the wrap. Powerful power sprays could peel the edges of the wrap. A wrap is an advertising investment. Cleanliness and care creates a better image in the marketplace.

Can the wrap be removed?

Yes. If your vehicle goes off lease or is sold, the wrap can be removed. We charge a fee to remove vehicle wraps.

What type of vehicles can you wrap?

We can wrap any vehicle from a motorcycle to large semi-trucks and everything in between. Even boats and airplanes. As a matter of fact, wrapping is not just limited to vehicles. If it's metal, it can be wrapped including trailers and on-site storage units.

Where do you wrap vehicles?

Usually at our facility although in some cases, wrapping can be done at your place of business. We only wrap vehicles in the Albuquerque greater area.
